We decided to cancel our cable a little over a week ago – so now Christian is trying to find the best option to get some local channels.  I told him I’d bring him a poncho and rain boots if it rains…

Went to Lazy Daze arts and crafts festival in Cary.  It was crowded but it was nice to get out of the house, I ended up finding some pictures that I’ll be using in our entryway, and Cooper took a nice nap in the stroller.

Bought Cooper a little play house…because the child has nothing to play with…

I thought it would be nice to enjoy some fresh air while he played in it…he preferred to play with (and tried to eat) pine needles…

Today was Cooper’s first surgery – for ear tubes.  Here we are at Blue Ridge Surgery Center before surgery…waiting…for over an hour...

Tonight I went out to dinner for sushi with Catherine and Jen....but as always I forgot to take a photo!  Next time...  Christian sent me these photos while I was at dinner...being silly with Cooper.

Fun at the doctor’s office.  Cooper had his pre-op appt for his ear tube surgery.  Here we are waiting in the exam room after his hearing test.  He still has fluid in his ears which they said is causing moderate hearing loss.  Surgery is scheduled for Thursday (8/23).

While I enjoyed a coffee with Whitney and Kristen at Caribou, Cooper and Christian were enjoying bath time.  Cooper also learned how to pull himself up to his feet...we're in trouble now!

While I drove to Atlanta for my first weekend away from Cooper to visit Kristen and Whitney – Christian kept me updated with pictures…Cooper playing with his favorite boulders, building a fort, and shopping for a new lawnmower.
